MRE do not require water to be added. They are meals ready to eat that can be eaten cold directly from the pouch or heated.

Meals ready to eat - hearty entrees, don?t need water added like freeze-dried food. Just heat and eat. Packed in convenient pouches, using the latest food-storage technology, gives them a full flavor during their multi-year shelf life. Great for camping, hiking, outdoor adventure or emergencies. Rest assured knowing you will have nourishment in the event of a hurricane, tornado, blizzard, earthquake, flood or other emergencies.
Meals-Ready-to-Eat are long shelf life meals that can be eaten hot or cold. The MRE were designed by leading nutritionists and chefs to be tasty and nutritional. They are packaged in a triple-layer foil/plastic "retort" pouch. This is then sealed, cooked and not exposed to air until opened. Thus, the food is actually sterilized in the pouch and blocked from future contamination. The results are an almost unbelievable shelf life, and food which retains it natural moisture and juice. They are light weight, easy to store, and easy to use. They can be heated by any number of methods, or eaten cold (they are fully cooked). Refrigeration not required.
Sure-Pak II are sealed in the factory box of 12 and are made by Sopakco. They are the leader in MRE's for the Military. There are 6 different complete meals per case (2 of each) and are all brand new. Each case comes with 12 mains (entree's 2 of each), 12 side dishes (applesauce ect.), 12 dessert packs (cookie bar ect.), 12 cracker packs (8 squares each), 12 spreads (jelly ect.), 12 beverage powders, 12 coffees, creamer, sugar, salt, napkin, wet nap and a spoon. 12 EVERYTHING'S! All individually packed in 12 New style Military water tight plastic bags shown in the picture. The case weighs 19 lbs and has a shelf life of 12+ years when stored under 60 Degrees (a closet floor is real close). MRE are great for hunting, fishing, camping and emergencies.

We get them by the pallet and they are always brand new. Watch out for some others. We ship what we have so you get a case with 6 different types of MRE's, 2 of each. USUALLY contains 2 of 6 menu types, this is found under the Main Entrees section in the description for these. MRE are non-returnable.
FREIGHT: Due the the weight of these meals ready to eat, some large orders may need a special shipping quote if the web site calculates a low shipping price such as only $1.50 or $2.00.

Most, but not all orders leave our warehouse within 1-7 business days. Allow time from the day we ship for UPS or the USPS to deliver it to you from Upstate NY. Please call for rush orders before 2:00 Eastern time. That means that some items, to some locations could take two weeks or more. Remember, we're a 50 year old family run business, so feel free to call us for a rush. We can get most of our items out the same day and use next day air and get it to you tomorrow, but you need to call before 2:00 Eastern time.
