This Escape Hood is first to earn Certification to the new American Standard ANSI/ISEA110. The escape hood protects against fire-related risks including toxic gases, harmful particulates and life-threatening physical hazards. American certification involves rigorous independent testing against many challenges including carbon monoxide, smoke, hydrogen cyanide, sulfur dioxide, other gases, particulates, fumes, soot, flammability, radiant heat & environmental conditioning. Additional testing has been performed by the US Army Edgewood Chemical Biological Center.
